Application of artificial neural network in the diagnosis of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer

目的：探讨人工神经网络在前列腺良性增生（BPH）与前列腺癌（PCa）鉴别诊断中的应用。方法对收集到的病例资料进行处理，建立用于BPH与PCa鉴别诊断的人工神经网络模型。结果人工神经网络能够综合反映各项指标在BPH、PCa鉴别诊断中的作用。结论人工神经网络模型可以为BPH与PCa的鉴别诊断提供新途径。

Objective To evaluate the application of artificial neural network （ ANN） in the diagnosis of benign prostatic hyperplasia （BPH） and prostate cancer （PCa）.Methods Based on the collected clinical data, an ANN mod-el was established which could identify and diagnose BPH and PCa .Results The ANN model could comprehensively re-flect the function of each index in the diagnosis of PCa and BPH .Conclusion ANN models can provide a new way for the identification and diagnosis of BPH and PCa .
