研究地形图中地物图符的提取方法 ,并以居民区为例实现其特征信息的提取 .根据地物图符的特征 ,采用各种变换、多边形跟踪和多边形顶点提取等方法 ,提取了居民区图符的特征信息 .利用上述方法 。

Studies methods of recognizing ground symbols in relief maps to extract data that residential symbols represent. According to the features of residential areas, data are extracted by transforming, tracing polygon, and extracting vertices of polygons. Using the above methods, data from ground symbols can readily be collected.
