摘要
对漫画家姚非拉的漫画作品《梦里人》的分析,我们发现:(1)《梦里人》中的"愤怒"图像转喻包括眉毛倒竖、眼睛形状改变、嘴巴形状改变、手和胳膊的特殊姿势、脸红、出汗、青筋暴露等,全部隶属[愤怒的生理表征代愤怒]这一概念转喻。(2)我们还观察到四条"愤怒"图像隐喻:[怒者是一个高压容器],[愤怒是火],[愤怒是围绕怒者的天气/自然现象]和[怒者是危险动物]。(3)《梦里人》中的图像转喻和隐喻经常多个联合使用,或者转喻和隐喻结合使用,以明确、醒目和夸张的方式呈现画中人物的愤怒。(4)《梦里人》中的"愤怒"事件基本遵循King(1989)提出的汉语"愤怒"理想认知模式(冒犯—怒起—控制—泄愤—恢复平衡)和典型认知模式(冒犯—怒起—控制—转移—补偿),此外还有一些非典型愤怒。
This is a cognitive linguistic study of the pictorial ANGER metonymies and metaphors and the cognitive model of ANGER in the comics Dream Catcher by the Chinese cartoonist Yao Feila. It is found that: ( 1 ) Eyebrows, eyes, mouths and ann/hand positions are frequently used to refer to ANGER, suggesting the existence of the metonymy THE PHYSIO- LOGICAL EFFECTS OF ANGER STAND FOR ANGER. (2) There are four pictorial metaphors of ANGER, including THE ANGRY PERSON IS A PRESSURIZED CONTAINER, ANGER IS FIRE, ANGER IS AN EXTERNAL METEORO- LOGICAL/NATURAL PHENOMENON THAT SURROUNDS THE SELF and ANGER IS A DANGEROUS ANIMAL. (3) The observed ANGER metonymies and metaphors typically co-occur with each other in order to convey the anger of the characters in a vivid and exaggerating way. (4) The idealized and prototypical cognitive models of ANGER as observed by King ( 1989 ) in the Chinese language also apply to the ANGER events in the comics. Yet some non - prototypical angry events have also been notified.
