摘要
本文以新的角度 ,考虑到信号原子速度远少于本底气体分子 (原子 )热运动速度的实际情形 ,给出原子喷泉中回落信号原子因碰撞散射和原子云扩大所致损失的估计方法 ,并以我们设计的原子喷泉有关数据为例进行具体估算 ,给出量化概念。该方法曾应用于国外原子喷泉 ,其理论预期与实验结果相当符合。
The author proposed a loss estimation method for dropping back atom number in the atomic fountain from a new point of view and considering the practical situation in which the velocity of signal atoms are much slower than the background gas atoms. As a numerical example we have done a calculation substituted in our fountain parameters. The estimation method has been also used to other fountain worked in foreign country and got quite agreement with their experimental results.
