〈China State Grid Corporation＇s Eighteen Major Anti-accident Measures （2012 Edition）〉 require that the protection of inconsistent three-phase position of the breaker of generator＇s transformer should start failure protection, however, most of generator＇ s transformer units in power plant haven＇ t failure protection function. This paper introduces in detail the scheme of starting failure protection function in the open-phase protection of generator＇s transformer unit in power plant.
