Multimedia push technology based on precise positioning of WIFI in campus

为了便于大学生在校园内能够更加方便获取学习资料,及时了解校园内的动态信息以及参与校内互动活动,提出了一种基于校园WIFI精确定位的多媒体推送技术.该技术依托于校园高覆盖率的WIFI网络与智能网络终端的普及,通过软件技术对移动智能终端进行定位,并利用服务器进行位置比对,向该设备推送距离终端最近信息点的多媒体信息.研究表明,多媒体推送技术能够完善校园生活,简化校园信息管理,同时能够降低大量宣传成本,为建设高水平大学做出贡献.

In order to facilitate undergraduate students to get the learning materials in campus more conveniently as well as to understand the dynamic information and participate the interactive activities in campus,a multimedia push technology based on the precise positioning of WIFI in campus was proposed. This technology mainly relies on the high-covering ratio of campus WIFI network and the popularity of intelligent network terminal. The positioning for the mobile intelligent terminal was conducted with the software technology. In addition,the position contrast was performed by a server,and the multimedia information at the information point nearest to the terminals was pushed to the device. The results showthat the multimedia push technology can improve the campus life,simplify the campus information management, greatly reduce the advertising cost,and make a contribution to building the high-level university.
