Taoyuan Hydropower Station in Yuanjiang River is constructed by EPC mode, but the construction safety management cannot be fully contracted. To implement the policy of “Safety First, Prevention First” , the firsts are keys. The construction safety management of Taoyuan Hydropower Station project is summarized and the improvements on management system are analyzed. In 3-year construction period, the safety risk factors, hazards and hidden production accident dangers are always put under control and in control. The ＂Double Zero＂ goals of life loss and major liability accident are achieved in the construction of Taoyuan Hydropower Station.
