美国图书馆事业发展与其法律提供的保障息息相关。文章评价美国著作权法中有关图书馆的条款,并与我国著作权法的相关条款进行比较,建议我国应从平衡读者、图书馆、版权所有人三者之间的利益出发修订版权法。

American librarianship thrives with the strong support from U.S. laws. This paper introduces the provisions related to library in U.S. Copyright law, and compares them with their counterparts in China. Finally, it is suggested to amend the copyright law of China for balancing the interests of reader, library, and copyright holder.
