Action-based community practice and development of college foreign language teachers

实践共同体与行动研究有着本质的联系,即:二者均注重在教学实践中寻求教师专业发展的重要推动力。研究表明,以行动研究为依托、在实践共同体框架下为促进高校外语教师的专业发展搭建平台,不但能建构实践共同体,支持和促进成员教师之间的知识共享,而且能有效支持和促进教师进行具有创新意义的反思性实践,从而达成教师专业发展这一最终目标。

Communities of practice and action researches are closely related in that both stress on teaching practices and professional development of the college teachers. The research argues that communities of practice, through action research, can help foreign language teachers to develop creative thinking of the professional development.
