硒与自身免疫性甲状腺炎研究进展 被引量:6

摘要 硒作为一种必需的微量元素于1817年被瑞典化学家发现,由于最初被认为是毒性物质,直到最近数十年随着硒的动物实验及人类研究的增多提供了充分的证据证实硒是一种重要的膳食成分[1],具有广泛的生物学作用,与下列疾病密切相关:(1)克山病,大骨节病,与缺碘有关的地方病;(2)各种癌症;(3)心血管病;(4)补体活化和流行性出血热;(5)男性不育症和妊娠高血压;(6)免疫功能损伤与艾滋病;(7)辐射损伤、重金属中毒与职业病.近些年硒在内分泌领域受到了广泛关注,研究表明甲状腺内含有多种硒蛋白,甲状腺中的硒含量仅次于肝肾,而每克组织硒含量在甲状腺中最高,硒对于维持人类机体和动物的甲状腺激素代谢和合成至关重要.
