TIE BAN CHUI HOU DAN ,a kind of herb formula ,was first made by the famous physician Xiong Yu-tian .We studied the source of this formula as well as the technology for the compatibility ,drug selection and the processing of this traditional Chinese medicine .Improvements of the pharmaceutical process and some new views on this formula in recent decades were also mentioned in our paper .Besides ,we explained the formula actions ,indications and contraindications ,the usage and dosage of the herbs in this article .
