与传统基于视线的可视域算法相比 ,该算法不需进行 DEM内插 ,无冗余计算 ,计算时间和视点位置与可视域面积无关 ,受 DEM区域影响不大。

Compared with traditional sightline based algorithms, the algorithm for computing viewsheds based on reference planes has no use for DEM interpolations, without redundance calculations. The time for computing a viewshed has nothing to do with the location of the viewpoint and the area of the viewshed, and it is slightly influenced by the area of DEMs.
