王运熙先生对于古代文论名著《文心雕龙》的研究,在许多关键问题上,都提出了自己的真知灼见,从而为"龙学"做出了不可磨灭的重要贡献。王先生所坚持的实事求是、注重研究对象多方面联系的研究态度和方法,也给我们重要的启示。

On the research of the great literary criticism work Wenxin diaolong,Mr.Wang Yunxi had his insights on many key issues,such as the nature,the basic idea and the structure of the work,the connotation of certain categories like ＂fenggu＂and ＂wu＂,and the aesthetic standards of Liu Xie,so that he made important contribution on the study of Wenxin diaolong.Besides,the research attitude and method of Mr.Wang—with pragmatic approach,and emphasized on the multi-relation of subject- will inspire us.
