"丝绸之路经济带"是欧亚大陆国家通过交通、信息、能源等领域的互联互通,促进贸易和投资便利化,形成一种独特的地缘经济合作方式。首先,它应该是互惠的利益共同体,不断扩大各国的经济贸易联系;其次,它应该是共赢的发展共同体,各国都可以从合作中受益,以基础设施建设为优先方向,加强融资合作,创造更多就业机会,真正造福于各国人民;再次,它应该是开放的合作共同体,辐射的地理范围非常广阔,区域外的国家也可以参与。"丝绸之路经济带"是一种创新的合作模式,旨在促进各国充分发挥地缘上的优势,开辟一条不同发展水平、不同文化传统、不同资源禀赋、不同社会制度国家间开展平等合作,共享发展成果的有效途径。

＂Silk-Road Economic Belt＂is a unique mode of geo-economic cooperation among Euro-Asia continental countries through internet and facilitation for trade and investment in communication, message and energy. First, it should be a common entity of mutual benefit to expand consistently economic and trade ties between one country and another; second, it should be a common entity for development on mutual benefit, with priority given to infrastructure construction to intensify fi- nancing cooperation, offer more jobs, benefit people of all nations; third, it should be an open common entity for cooperation with extensive territory, which non-member states are allowed to join. The belt is a model for innovative cooperation in a bid to promote geo-advantage in full use and open up an efficient access for equal cooperation among member states with different development level, cultural tradition, resource endowment and social system towards shared benefit.
