Relationship between p63 expression and cervical cancer in a Chinese population: a meta-analysis

目的探讨p63在宫颈癌及癌前病变组织中的表达及意义。方法计算机检索CNKI、维普、CBM、万方等数据库,按照纳入与排除标准选择研究文献,并对文献进行质量评价,以病例组及对照组比值比(OR值)为效应评价指标,然后应用RevMan5.0和Stata12.0进行Meta分析。结果最终纳入15篇病例对照研究,包括宫颈鳞状细胞癌680例,宫颈上皮内瘤样病变(CIN)580例,正常宫颈组织223例。Meta分析结果显示,p63在宫颈癌和CIN中显著高于正常宫颈组织的鳞状上皮(P<0.01),且在宫颈癌表达显著高于CIN(P<0.01)。结论 p63高表达可能在宫颈癌的发生、发展中起重要作用,有望将p63应用于辅助宫颈癌及其癌前病变的筛查和诊断。

Objective To investigate the expression of p63 and its significance in carcinoma and precancerous lesions of cervix uteri. Methods The CNKI, VIP, CBM and WangFang databases were searched for such as to identify all the relevant case-control trials, and the quality of the included studies were assessed. RevMan 5.0 software and Stata 12.0 were adopted to analyze the data by calculating OR and 95% CL Results A total of 15 case-control studies were included in the study, and there were 233 cases of normal cervix, 580 cases of CIN, 680 cases of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix uteri. Meta - analysis results showed that the expression of p63 in cervix uteri and CIN was significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissues [ OR = 29.19,95% CI （ 16.48,51.69 ）, P 〈 0. 01 ] ） , and the expression in cervix uteri was significantly higher than that in CIN [ OR = 4.20,95 % CI（3.78,10. 95 ） ,P 〈 0. O1 ]. Conclusions The over expression of p63 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of cervix uteri, and it can be used as a diagnostic indicator for squamous cell carcinoma of uterine cervix.
