The paper briefly reviews GTL (gas to liquids)technology,the status of commercial application,and the problems existing.The author puts emphasis on the introduction of the progress made in recent technologies of synthetic gas and GTL,as well as the plants under construction and planed.Finally the paper forecasts the prospects for its commercial application in 21st century,and puts forward some suggestions.
