An Analysis of Mannheim's Views on Marxism

曼海姆的思想无疑受到了马克思的巨大影响,其马克思主义观从对意识形态和知识社会学理论的阐述中集中地体现出来。其中既存在着比较地道的关于马克思主义的洞见,同时他坚持"价值中立"的立场,但是最终却陷入相对主义的泥潭而不能自拔。批判反思曼海姆的马克思主义,对于坚持马克思主义的理论底线及其边界和在新的历史条件下发展马克思主义均具有方法论意义。

The thoughts of Mannheim are greatly influenced by Marxism without doubt,and his outlook on Marxism is best reflected in terms of his views and theoretical expositions on ideology and sociology. There exist,among his expositions,not only unadulterated insights into Marxism,but also value neutrality-based positions on Marxism which Mannheim insists on adhering to,the latter of which plunged him into an inextricable quagmire of relativism. Criticizing and rethinking Mannheim＇s views on Marxism is of certain methodological significance to adhering to the bottom line and the boundary of Marxist theories and to developing Marxism under the new historical conditions.
