摘要
隐喻语言相似的神经机制使科技隐喻汉译成为可能。科技隐喻汉译的研究不再是由原语到译语的简单操作,而是由思维到语言的复杂操作。科学隐喻汉译思维中的生活概念与科学概念、科学概念与生活概念及科学概念本身之间构成的移位型和替换型是形成科技隐喻汉译语际转化对译策略、增译策略、减译策略、移译策略、换译策略的基础。
The similar neural mechanisms of metaphors in different languages make the translation of scientific metaphors possible. Studies show today that the translation of scientific metaphors is not just a simple conversion from the original language to the target language,but a complicated operation involving the interactive faculties of thought and language. In the Chinese translation of scientific metaphors,the relation of transposition or replacement can be found between everyday concepts and scientific concepts,as well as among scientific concepts themselves. The relation is the foundation of our translation strategies for scientific metaphors,which can be categorized into five types: literal translation,addition,omission,transference and substitution.
