苗族服饰作为苗族形象的标志之一,一直保持着自己的独特风格,其纷繁复杂的头饰和服装的各种配件均蕴涵着深刻的含义,寄托着苗族人民美好的理想与追求,或颂扬勤劳勇敢,或表现五谷丰登,或反映历史传说,或象征幸福爱情,构成一幅幅情趣盎然的动人画卷。
As one of the symbols of Miao image, the peculiar and diverse and complex Miao costume holds profound implication-- to project Miao people＇ s ideal and pursuit, to praise its people＇ s bravery and diligence, to show an abundant harvest, to mirror its history and myth, to symbolize the happy mar- riage and etc, constructing a vivid picture full of emotion.
