当前，边境地区因社会环境的急剧变化而导致了做好公安边防群众工作越来越困难。公安边防群众工作的质量．不仅影响着边境地区的安全稳定，而且关系着边境地区的现代化建设。因此，只有从归纳公安边防群众工作的概念出发。分析其在边境管理工作中的作用，总结当前做好公安边防群众工作所面临的问题，才能提出做好公安边防群众工作的对策．服务于边境地区治安实务工作。

Currently, due to the rapid changes in the social environment, masses work in border areas is getting more and more difficult. The quality of masses work in border areas affects both the security-stability and the modernization construction of border areas. Therefore, by generalizing the conception of masses work in border areas, analyzing its role in border administration and management and summarizing the current issues facing the masses work in border areas, we are expected to put forward measures and strategies for masses work and provide better service for the public security in border areas.
