人工育幼与自然育幼白颊长臂猿的行为对比

Comparison of Behaviors of Naturally-Reared Versus Human-Reared White-Cheeked Gibbons in Captivity

对南京红山森林动物园的人工育幼白颊长臂猿与自然育幼白颊长臂猿的刻板行为、理毛、追逐打闹、攻击等行为,采取瞬时扫描取样法进行观察记录,结果表明人工育幼白颊长臂猿的刻板行为显著高于自然育幼白颊长臂猿(P<0.05),自然育幼白颊长臂猿的追逐打闹行为显著高于人工育幼白颊长臂猿(P<0.05),理毛行为和攻击行为显著高于人工育幼白颊长臂猿(P<0.05),主要表现为自然育幼白颊长臂猿社群中交往更多,对人的攻击性更强,人工育幼白颊长臂猿的自然行为表现不足,社群交往较少。

We studied stereotypic behaviors, grooming, chasing, and aggression of white- cheeked gibbon at Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo. We compared behaviors of two groups of gib- bons, one reared by humans and a second reared by the mother gibbons. Data were collected u- sing instantaneous and scanning sampling methods. Stereotypic behaviors of the human-reared group were significantly more frequent than in the gibbon-reared group （ P 〈 0.05）. Grooming, chasing, aggressive behaviors of the gibbon-reared group were significantly more frequent than in the human-reared group（ P 〈 0.05）. The gibbon-reared group was better integrated into the gib- bon community and more aggressive toward humans than was the human-reared group. The hu- man-reared group lacked expression of natural behaviors and social interaction.
