搁浅中华白海豚的救护初探

Preliminary Discussion of Medical Care of Stranded Chinese Humpback Dolphin

搁浅海豚常见的疾病有肺炎和胃溃疡,并因生活在野外而错过最佳治疗时机,导致搁浅海豚死亡率居高不下,中华白海豚因数量稀少,无圈养经验,缺乏相关饲养诊疗资料。南宁市动物园于2007年有幸救护到1头搁浅的中华白海豚,并对其进行血液学检查、粪便检查、胃液检查、人工探胃检查、听诊以及X线摄影检查,综合其临床症状废食,消瘦,呼吸频率加快,以及实验室胃液、粪便、呼吸孔分泌物分析结果,诊断为呼吸道炎症和胃肠道炎症性疾病,通过抗菌消炎、止血、保护胃肠黏膜、抑酸制酸、加强营养等一系列救护措施,最终救治成功。

Pneumonia and gastric ulcer are common diseases of stranded dolphins. There is high mortality among stranded dolphins because timely treatment is typically not available. Chinese hump- back dolphin is rarely held in captivity and there is a lack of references to husbandry and treatment. In 2007, a stranded Chinese hump -back dolphin was saved in Nanning Zoo, Guan- gxi, China. We examined its blood, feces, and gastric fluids, and carried out stomach examina- tion by hand, auscultation and X - ray. Based on the clinical symptoms of loss of appetite, loss of body weight, and increased respiration rate, and the result of laboratory examination of gastric flu- id, feces, and excretions through the blow hole, the dolphin was determined to suffer inflamma- tion of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. After treatments, including antibacterial and anti inflammation, hemostatic, gastrointestinal mucous membrane protection, acid suppression, and increased food supply, we successfully cured the dolphin.
