摘要
2000~2013年,对大连森林动物园美洲火烈鸟的人工饲养和繁殖进行了初步研究,结果表明在繁殖期美洲火烈鸟有营巢行为,新营巢与人工巢的大小差异显著;通过测量和计算得出美洲火烈鸟卵的鲜重为(151±8.64)g、长径为(93±4.51)mm、短径为(57±3.76)mm、密度为(1.03±0.11)g/cm^3;卵的特异系数为(5.26±1.21)×10^(-4);大连森林动物园美洲火烈鸟卵的孵化时间为(28.83±1.01)d,新营巢与人工巢出雏数量差异显著,新营巢出雏多。
Abstract： This paper documents preliminary research on captive rearing and breeding of American flamingo（ Phoenicopterus ruber） at Dalian Forest Zoo from 2000 to 2013. American flamingos showed nesting behavior during breeding season. The size difference is observed between the new nests and man - made nests. I measured weight, length, width, density and species-specif- ic constant of American flamingo eggs as 151 ±8.64 g, 93 ±4. 51 mm, 57 ±3. 76 mm, 1.03 ± 0. 11 g/cm3 and 5.26 ± 1.21 × 10 -4, respectively. The incubation period of flamingos was 28. 83± 1.01 days. Flamingo-built nests contained significantly more hatchlings than man-made nests.
