The Fall of the House of Usher, a Bucket of White Wine, and The Black Cat are short stories written by Edgar Allen Poe. With revenge as their theme, these stories occurred in the castle, cellar, or the catacombs airtight space and ended with death of some of the main characters. Noticeably, the relationship of characters, the form of revenge and the root of evil differ from each other. As in gothic horror stories, the dark, mysteries and suppressed features are very distinctive, which also bring a great imloact on readers' bodies and minds.
