摘要
目的探讨半乳糖凝集素-3(Galectin-3)和血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)蛋白的表达水平与不同病理改变的宫颈组织的关系,两者与宫颈癌临床病理特征的关系及两者的相关性。方法采用免疫组织化学S-P法,分别检测Galectin-3和VEGF在慢性宫颈炎(宫颈炎组,15例)、宫颈上皮内瘤变(CIN)(CIN组,30例)及宫颈癌(宫颈癌组,78例)中的表达;分析Galectin-3和VEGF的表达与宫颈癌临床病理特征的关系。结果宫颈炎组、CIN组、宫颈癌组Galectin-3蛋白表达阳性率分别为26.7%、73.3%、87.2%。CIN组Galectin-3蛋白表达阳性率明显高于宫颈炎组(P<0.05),宫颈癌组Galectin-3蛋白表达阳性率明显高于CIN组(P<0.05)。宫颈炎组、CIN组、宫颈癌组VEGF蛋白表达阳性率分别为33.3%、60.0%、76.9%,宫颈癌组VEGF蛋白表达阳性率明显高于宫颈炎组(P<0.005)。Galectin-3和VEGF的表达与年龄、病理学类型、淋巴结转移无关(P>0.05),而与宫颈癌宫颈间质浸润深度、肿瘤直径等有关(P<0.05)。Galectin-3与VEGF在宫颈癌中的表达呈正相关性(rs=0.684,P<0.05)。结论 Galectin-3和VEGF在CIN和宫颈癌组织呈高表达;两者可能参与了宫颈癌的发生和进展;与宫颈癌宫颈间质浸润深度、肿瘤直径等相关;两者在宫颈癌组织中存在共表达;可作为宫颈癌组织中的生物标志物。
Objective To explore the relationship between the expression levels of galectin-3 and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)protein and pathological changes in cervical tis-sue,and to investigate the relationship between the expression of galectin-3 and VEGF and clini-cal pathological characteristics of cervical cancer.Methods The expression of galectin-3 and VEGF was detected by immunohistochemical S-P method in 15 cases of chronic cervicitis,30 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and 78 cases of cervical cancer.The relationship between the expression of galectin-3 and VEGF and clinicopathological features of cervical cancer was ana-lyzed.Results The positive expression rate of galectin-3 protein was 26.7%,73.3% and 87.2%in cervicitis group,CIN group and cervical cancer group,respectively.Compared with CIN group, galectin-3 expression significantly decreased in cervicitis group,but obviously increase in cervical cancer group(P 〈0.05).The positive expression rate of VEGF protein was 33.3%,60.0% and&amp;nbsp;76.9% in cervicitis group,CIN group and cervical cancer group,respectively.Compared with cer-vicitis group,VEGF expression significantly increased in cervical cancer group(P 〈0.005).The expression of galectin-3 and VEGF was not correlated with the age,pathological type and lymph node metastasis(P 〈0.05),but was related to cervical stromal infiltration depth and tumor diame-ter in cervical cancer(P 〈0.05).In addition,the expression of galectin-3 was positively correlated with the expression of VEGF in cervical cancer(rs =0.684,P 〈0.05).Conclusion Both galectin-3 and VEGF are expressed in CIN and cervical cancer tissues and may be involved in the occurrence and progression of cervical cancer.The expression galectin-3 and VEGF is related to cervical stro-mal infiltration depth and tumor diameter in cervical cancer.Therefore,galectin-3 and VEGF can be used as the biomarkers of cervical cancer.
