A Synthesis Method of Thymol

以间甲酚和异丙醇为原料,以Al-Fe-V的氧化物为非均相催化剂合成了麝香草酚,并考察了工艺条件的影响,得到最佳工艺条件为:配料比n(异丙醇)/n(间甲酚)为3,反应温度为330℃,反应压力为3.0 MPa,空速(LHSV)为3 h-1,催化剂可以在较长的时间内连续使用。

Thymol was prepared from m-cresol and isopropanol by using Al-Fe-V oxide as heterogeneous catalyst. The effect of process conditions was investigated, the best process conditions were obtained as follows： ratio of n （isopropanol）/n （Thymol） 3, reaction temperature 330 ℃, reaction pressure 3.0 MPa, liquid hourly space velocity （LHSV） 3 h-1.The catalyst could be used continuously in a long period of time.
