Determination of moisture and extracts in Capra hireus Linnaeus from different producing areas

目的测定不同产地山羊角的水分及水溶性浸出物的含量,为制定其质量标准提供科学依据。方法按《中华人民共和国药典》（2010年版）一部附录ⅨH水分测定法第一法（烘干法）和附录ⅩA水溶性浸出物测定法中的热浸法测定。结果不同产区山羊角的水分含量在6.27%~9.63%,平均值为8.38%;水溶性浸出物含量在2.27%~4.62%,平均值为3.07%。结论通过测定不同地区山羊角的水分及浸出物含量,并对其进行记录分析,为制定山羊角的质量标准提供科学的依据。

Objective Determination of moisture and water-soluble extracts in Capra hireus Linnaeus from different producing areas can provide scientific basis for establishing the quality standards of medicinal material Capra hireus Linnaeus. Methods Samples were determined according to the procedures recorded in the Appendix IX H and XA of Chinese Pharmacopoeia published in 2010, for moisture and water-soluble extracts determination respectively. Results The moisture contents of differ- ent producing areas of Capra hireus Linnaeus were 6.27% - 9.63% ,with mean value of 8.38% ;the contents of water-soluble extracts were 2.27 % ~ 4.62%, with mean value of 3.07 %. Conclusion By determination of moisture and water-soluble extracts in Capra hireus Linnaeus from different producing areas and recording and analyzing data, we can provide scientific evidence for the establishment of quality standard of Capra hireus Linnaeus.
