哲学教育是大学生生命成长的前提,是实现大学理想的保证。雅斯贝尔斯在其大学教育理念中肯定了哲学教育的重要意义:它促使学生养成清晰的自我意识、唤醒学生原初的求知欲望,帮助学生确立远大的生活目标并拓宽理性的思维视野。目前我国高校哲学教育存在弊端,雅斯贝尔斯教育思想在实践层面为提高哲学教育效果提供有益启示:哲学教育可从外在、潜在和内在三种途径展开,分别表现为课程教学、学科渗透和哲思活动三种形式,哲学教育实践过程中应遵循主体性、自由性与交往性原则。

Philosophy education is of great significance to the growth of university students and the realization of university ideals. Karl Jaspers emphasizes the importance of philosophy education ： It encourages students to develop a clear sense of self - awareness, arouses the students＇ original desire of knowledge, helps students to set a large goal in life and broadens the vision of rational thinking. At present, some drawbacks of philosophy education exist in universities. Karl Jaspers＇ ideas of education provide beneficial inspirations. There are three ways to carry out for philosophy education：course teaching, discipline penetration and philosophical activities. Educators should follow the principles of subjectivity, freedom, and sociability.
