摘要
二十世纪的美国美学家苏珊·朗格关于艺术"生命形式"论的动因是:对盛行的形式主义文论和语义学批评的反拨和纠正;对贝尔的"有意味的形式"论的改造与超越;对艺术"自我表现"论的批判和反思;对卡西尔"生命形式"论的继承和发展。从而使艺术"生命形式"论发展到一个新的阶段。
In the twentieth century the motivation of American aesthete, Susan Lange's theory on "forms of life" in art includes the criticism and revision of porpular formalist's literary theory and criticism of semantics, the transformation and transcendence of Bell's theory on "signified forms", criticism and reflection on "self-expression theory"of art, the inheritance and development of Cassirer's theory on "forms of life". Thus, it makes "forms of life"theory develop into a new stage.
