Developing an English Teaching Strategy that Promotes Critical Thinking

目前批评性思维能力已成为英语关注的焦点之一。培养英语学生的思辨能力已经成为学界的基本共识,也符合国家中长期教育发展的战略要求。本文在国内外相关研究的基础上,就英语思辨教学提出建设性教学策略,并探讨其可行性。

Critical thinking has been one of the research focuses in recent years and improving students＇ critical thinking ability has become a consensus in the field of foreign language education.This idea is also in keeping with the National Education Reform and Development of Long-term Planning Programs.Based on relevant researches,this paper puts forward a teaching strategy meant to promote critical thinking and discusses the feasibility of the strategy.
