摘要
采用固定床反应装置,以γ-Al2O3为催化剂,以间甲酚和丙烯为原料合成了3-甲基-6异丙基苯酚,实验考察了催化剂孔径、原料空速、反应温度等对反应性能的影响。确定的最佳反应条件为:以平均孔径为7.48nm的大孔γ-Al2O3为催化剂,反应温度为250℃,间甲酚与丙烯的摩尔比为1∶2,空速为0.87mL/(g·h),在此条件下,间甲酚转化率为78.8%,产物选择性为92.6%,收率为73.0%。
Synthesis of thymol from m-cresol and propylene over γ-Al2O3 catalysts was investigated in a fixed bed reactor.The influences of the pore size of catalysts,space velocity and reaction temperature on catalytic performance were investigated.The result showed that the optimized reaction conditions were as follows:γ-Al2O3 with average pore size of 7.48 nm was used as catalyst,m-cresol and propylene were used as raw materials with the molar ratio of 1 ∶ 2,space velocity of m-cresol was 0.87 mL/(g · h) and the reaction temperature was 250 ℃.Under these conditions,the conversion of mcresol was 78.8% with the selectivity of thymol of 92.6%,resulted in the yield of thymol of 73.0%.
