研究前沿识别方法的研究进展

Progress in Research on Research Front Identification Methods

在阐述现有研究前沿的识别方法基础上,进一步分析各种方法的优缺点,并指出其发展趋势,即从基于单一关系(引用关系或者共词)的方法向复合关系演变,以及基于文本挖掘的自动探测方法是研究前沿识别方法上的两大趋势。另外,Kostoff提出的"文献相关发现"方法体系在识别研究前沿上也具有良好的应用前景。

Based on introducing the existing identification methods of research front, this paper further analyzes the advantages and disadvantages for each method. Then the paper points out the development trend, that is, the evolution from single-relation- based-method （citation-relation-based method or co-word-based method） to hybrid-relation-based method and textual-data mining- based method are the two major trends for research front identification methods. In addition, the literature-related discovery method system proposed by Kostoff has a promising prospect for identifying research front.
