健康教育对控制疟疾的效果分析

Effectiveness of Health Education on Malaria Prevention and Control

目的 了解在海南省疟区实施健康教育对控制疟疾的效果。方法 于 1 992年及 1 995～ 1 998年在海南省万宁市南桥乡进行健康教育改变疟疾高发人群行为的研究。在疟疾高发村 ,利用有线广播、幻灯、图片及实物展览、传单等形式进行较为系统的疟疾健康教育。结果 居民疟疾知识的正确应答率从健康教育前的6 1 3%上升到健康教育后的 89 7% ,使用蚊帐率从 2 8 6 %上升到 72 6 % ,疟疾病例治疗依从性及自我保健意识均有所提高。试点乡的各项疟疾指数降至较低水平。

Objective To understand the effect of health education on malaria aiming at changing behavior of susceptible populations in epidemic areas Methods Health education on malaria prevention and control in forms of slide presentation, wire broadcast, photo and specimen exhibition, and leaflet, were conducted in 10 and 14 highly epidemic villages in Nanqiao Township, Wanning City, in 1992 and 1995～1998 respectively Questionnaire surveys were conducted before and after health education intervention Results The knowledge rate, mosquito net usng rate, and compliance rate among all of the subjects were increased, and malaria indexes decreased with statistical significance Conclusion Health education is effective in raising the awareness of malarial prevention and knowledge rate and in changing unhealthy behavior
