提升办学效益是民办高校健康发展的前提。民办高校办学效益主要存在办学经费不足、经费用途不当、社会和个人效益不高等问题。这与民办高校生源数量锐减、生存环境不佳、分类管理机制未实行以及办学行为逐利化等因素密切相关。要破解当前的困境,政府和民办高校都需要采取积极策略,通过实行分类管理、加强公共财政资助以及引导学校提升教育质量等措施,推动民办高等教育的可持续发展。

Enhancing the operation efficiency is a prerequisite of healthy development of non -governmental institutions of higher learning which is mainly faced with lack of funds , improper use of the funds , and insufficient social and personal benefits .This is in connection with the reduction of student numbers , poor living environment , non-implementation of classified management mechanisms, and the pursuit of profit behavior .To overcome the current difficulties , both the government and non-governmental institutions of higher learning need to adopt proactive strategies and through implementing classified management , enhancing pub-lic finance support , and improving education quality , to promote their sustainable development .
