摘要
加拿大高校招生考试制度经过数百年的发展,目前已臻于完善。就具体招生而言,虽然招生要求因校而异,但大体上都把获得高中毕业文凭作为基本的选拔条件,以高中最后两年的成绩为选拔依据。从整体上看,该招考制度以"均等而多样"作为追求的终极理念;在制度的运行方式上,体现出"地方格局,自主招生"的特点;在选拔方式上,采取"基于专业,宽严并举"的做法;在择校方面,学生具有高度灵活的选择权,可在不同高校及专业之间自由转接;在与入学配套的资助政策方面,采取"多元助学,兼顾就业"的方式。当前,加拿大高校招考制度的问题主要集中在关乎社会正义的入学机会方面。
Over the course of hundreds of years, the admission system of Canadian higher education institutions has reached its maturity stage. As for admission requirements, most of the institutions require high school diploma and the academic performance of the last two years. Generally speaking, this admission system takes "equality and diversity" as its ultimate goal. Each institution has autonomy over the management of admission affairs, and their admission procedures are program -based. Applicants may select institutions and specialties according to their personal preference and can still transfer between different programs or even institutions after being admitted. Various forms of financial support are available to qualified applicants. At present, the main issue of the system lies in equal access to higher education which is closely related to social justice.
