This thesis analyzes the impact of the traditional view of marriage and love on women＇ s subject consciousness taking the love stories in the teleplay Crimson Romance as an example. Today, there is diversity in the impact on women of the traditional concept of love as well as marriage and the development of female subject consciousness. The construction of female subject consciousness not only needs to criticize and deconstruct the living environment of women, but also to overset and redefine the traditional culture that was dominated by masculine discourse for thousand years. At the same time, women themselves must think about their individual value and life and become the masters of their own destinies.
