老子开启了道家自然主义传统之先河,其生态思想的主要内容有:阐述了宇宙万物的生成过程,认为天地万物依循自然规律循环运动,天地对万物一视同仁,天道的表现和作用是均衡、和谐,节俭的生活方式有利于生态系统。老子生态思想具有积极的现实意义和普世价值。

Lao-tzu initiated naturalism of Taoism .It is the main content of his ecological thought which set forth universe′s formation and described universe as a system of correlation ,that all things follow the laws of nature circulation ,everything is treated without distinction by nature , Tao takes the form of harmony , and frugal life brings benefits to ecosystem .Lao-tzu′s ecological thought has the positive practical signifi-cance and universal value .
