摘要
高职实用英语教学翻译的目的是培养学生运用英语语言的能力、提高学生英语水平的有效途径。把《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》、翻译技巧和语用学的"选择顺应"理论有机地结合,使学生明白翻译是一个熟悉、掌握和运用各种翻译技巧的过程,更是在语用学原理指导下,不断进行语言选择和语言顺应的过程。因此,译文的好或者更好取决于译者对原文意义的理解程度以及翻译过程中信息流失的多与寡。这种理念增强了学生学习的自信心,更培养了学生的学习兴趣。
The perspective of this paper is that teaching translation from Englsih into Chinese is an effective way of bettering polytecnic students' English language competence. The author rationally adopts Requirements on the English Course Teaching of Polytecnic, translation theories, skills along with "choice-adaptability" theory of pragmatics to the teaching practice. This method makes the students get to know that translation is the procedure of getting familiar with translation skills, as well as choice and adaptability expressions. Therefore, the quality of a translation text denpends on how much information of the source text a translator catches. This perspective makes the students more self-confident and more interested in English learning.
