The Cultivation of International Talents at Foreign Languages Universities from the Perspective of National Strategies

在全球化背景下,培养国际化人才已经成为国家的战略需求,具有必要性和重要性。尝试探讨高等教育人才的类型和国际化人才的内涵,并讨论国际化人才的类型、知识能力、课程设置、社会需求等问题,最后提出外语类院校国际化人才的培养思路和建议,希望对提升国际化人才培养质量有一定启示。

Under the background of globalization, it is of necessity and importance to cultivate international talents, for it meets the strategic requirements of China. This paper attempts to analyze the types of talents of higher education and the connotation of international talents. It further discusses the type, the knowledge and capability, curricula provisions and social requirements of international talents. And finally it puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the cultivation of international talents at foreign languages universities, in the hope of giving some enlightenment on improving the quality of cultivating international talents.
