摘要
《道连·格雷的画像》是奥斯卡·王尔德(Oscar Wilde)创作的唯一一部小说,也是其最具代表性的作品之一,故事中理想主义和物质主义、科学和神秘、美和丑等多重元素相互交织,组成了对立和统一的整体。本文通过文本细读对这些对立和统一的因素进行详尽阐释,提出这部小说始终徘徊在这些对立元素的中间,充满矛盾又彼此和谐,这些对立与统一是不可分割的,共同构成了小说的完整性和艺术性,对立统一的书写也显示出了王尔德对人性的思考。
The Picture of Dorian Gray is Oscar Wilde＇s only published novel and one of his best known works. In this novel, idealism and materialism, science and mystery, good and evil, these opposite elements interact with each other, contributing a story that full of tension. Through close reading, this paper tries to explore the opposite but unified factors in this novel and proposes that the story never goes to one extreme and that these factors still coexist, which contributes to the integrity and artistry. The opposition and unity in this work also reflects Wilde＇s deep thinking on humanity.
