The development history of urban space and rail transit system in Paris Region is introduced. Along with the long progress of urban space changes after the WW II from ＂A Strong Core and Multi-Centre＂ to today＇s Grand Paris Plan which features an outward equilibrium model, Paris rail transit ,system inherited the development logic from urban center to the periphery, from radiation to the ring structure, thus the suburban railway, city express, metro and tramcar have achieved a dislocation development in complementary relationship. Urban space and rail transit system in Paris Region support each other and have formed an impartible body.
