International Networks in Asian Higher Education and the Development of Japan:The Multi-polarization of Initiatives and Perspectives for the Future

本研究围绕亚洲高等教育的国际合作以及在此境况下日本的定位,特别是以国际合作中主导权多极化趋势为焦点进行探讨。首先,明确在高等教育国际合作中跨境高等教育的定义,其包含公有性和私有性两方面的含义。其次,总结归纳亚洲尤其是东亚高等教育国际合作的现状和发展趋势。再次,探讨用以保障高等教育国际合作发展的质量保证和学分互换体系的构筑现状。最后,探讨在亚洲高等教育主导权多极化发展的形势下,日本该如何定位。

This study discusses the international networks in Asian higher education and the orientation of Japan in such context,focusing on the multi-polarization of initiatives in the international networks.Firstly,it clarifies the definition of transnational higher education in the international networks of higher education.Secondly,it summarizes the current situation and the future direction of the international networks in Asian,especially eastern Asian higher education.Thirdly,it discusses the establishment of quality assurance and credit transfer system for assuring the international networks of higher education.Finally,it discusses how Japan should fix its position under the situation of the multi-polarization of initiatives in the international networks.
