The Secular Word by Li Rui is a restatement of myths which is a basic plot. One of the most important reflections of the masses is the symbol of attack and rejection of the heterogeneous, which causes tragedies of one after another. The novel is an ode to the traditional myths, only combining the complicated experiences of the novelist.
