On EU Multilingual Education Policies and their Practices at the Primary Education Stage

摘要 近十几年来,欧盟出台了一系列有关多语教育的政策措施和指导性文件,这些政策和文件对欧盟国家的语言教育,尤其是基础教育阶段的外语教育产生了较大的影响。为了迎合经济全球化的发展趋势以及出于保护人类语言和文化多样性的需要,多语教育和多元文化的理念和实践有必要在一定的广度和深度上继续推行。 In recent years, EU has issued a series of multilingual education policies and documents. These policies and documents have exerted great influences on the language education practices of EU countries, especially on the primary foreign language education. In order to cater for lhe development trends of economic globalization and meet the need of the protection of diversity of human civilizations and cultures, the policy of multilingualism and multiculturalism must be further enforced and implemented in a certain breadth and depth.
