The Evolution Toward Intelligent Optical Infrastructure

随着FTTx的大规模部署,光纤基础设施网络的智能化已经成为未来的发展方向,将从根本上改变传统光纤网络"哑资源"的状况,推动光纤基础设施网络规划、建设、管理、运维的变革。本文首先总结了传统光纤基础设施网络发展的困境,并介绍了智能光纤基础设施网络技术,然后分析了它未来的发展前景以及面临的挑战,最后提出了对智能光纤基础设施网络发展的建议。

With the large-scale deployment of FTTx, the intellectualization of fiber infrastructure network has become the future development direction. It will fundamentally change the＆quot;dumb resources＆quot;of the tra-ditional fiber network, bring a revolution for planning, construction, management and maintenance of the fiber infrastructure network. This paper firstly summa-rizes the predicament of the traditional fiber infras-tructure network, and introduces the intelligent fiber infrastructure network technology, then analyzes its future prospects and challenges, finally puts forward the suggestions for the development of intelligent fiber network infrastructure.
