The key elements of social image of provincial library include the building image, the function implementation image, and the cultural image. The author discusses the connotations of the building image, the function implementation image, and the cultural image, while putting forward the positioning ways about the three types of images. And then, the progressive relationship among the three types of images of national library is talked about. Finally, some cases about positioning of provincial library are analyzed.
