美国加州大学图书馆面向社会开放的制度建设研究

A Study on the Open-to-the-Public System of the Libraries in University of California

美国加州大学7所分校图书馆在面向社会开放制度建设方面,具有制度分类多样、制度获取便捷、制度内容丰富等特点,对我国高校图书馆,特别是多校区图书馆在面向社会开放制度建设方面具有重要的参考价值。

The open-to-the-public system of the libraries in University of California has been systematically investigated in this work. Results indicate that their open-to-the-public system has some distinct characteristics, including the detailed classification for management rules, the convenient accessibility to readers, and the well-constructed opening polices. Their practice can offer some necessary references to construct open-to-the-public system in the university libraries of China, especially to those multi-campus universities.
