Resources Selection Strategies for Long-term Preservation of Digital Resources in China:Based on the Resources Selection Criteria in Memory of the World Register

文章阐述了我国数字资源长期保存项目中资源选择规范的应用现状及其问题,指出《世界记忆名录》资源选择标准对我国数字资源长期保存项目中的资源选择具有重要借鉴意义,强调资源的选择要体现自身优势、对资源的价值评估要考虑综合因素、资源的选择需要保存机构之间的合作与协调,提出了制定资源选择价值判断指标、明确资源选择类型并且多方向拓展资源选择途径等相应资源选择策略。

This paper describes the application of digital resources selection norm/ standard and its＇ troubles in the programs of long-term preservation of digital resources in China, points out that the resources selection criteria of Memory of the World Register can be used for reference to digital resources selection activities in long-term preservation of digital resources, and proposes some digital resources selection strategies such as creating the importance judging index of digital resources, clearing the type of resources, and developing the ways of the digital resources selection.
