近代以来建构的所谓"纯文学"的古代文论批评范式,不仅导致问题意识和研究方法上的日益贫乏化,而且也引发了本领域研究存在着明显的古今、中西价值取向分裂,而现代化过程的本性则要求对于中国文论的完整叙事,从问题意识的产生到提问方式乃至解决方法,既是"中国式"的,又是中西视域融合的。因此,回归文史哲合一的整体性意义世界,是文论早期形态问题意识产生的思想土壤,而观念史和思想史并重的研究方法,则是本领域未来研究中值得展望的方向。
