The Study of T'ang Poetry of The AAS Annual Conference

1996年至2012年的美国亚洲年会上约有14次涉及唐诗研究的小组会。其中1996年至2000年的小组会集中在"谈诗和谈事"的主题上,2004年到2010年的小组会重点是"文本、性别与诗的社会功能"等方面。海外唐诗研究者在反思传统的文学研究模式的同时,纷纷转向新材料、新方法和新问题,在选题和方法等方面与大陆唐诗研究形成了某种程度的互补,并提供了有益的启迪。

There were 14 seminars concerning the study of T＇ang poetry at the AAS Annual Conference from 1996 to 2012. Among them the seminars from 1996 to 2000 focused on the theme of ＂poetry and allusions＇and those from 2004 to 2010 paid great attention to the text, sex and social functions of poetry. While reconsidering the pattern of traditional literature study, the oversea scholars of T＇ang poetry gradually turned to new material, new method and new issues and somehow formed a complementary relationship with their mainland peers on choosing topics and applying methods.
